Virtus Voyager is the premiere 3-D browser application for the World Wide Web created for both the Macintosh and Windows 95 platforms. Working as a helper application to an HTML browser like Netscape Navigator, Virtus Voyager allows the user to experience the Internet in a whole new way using the industry-standard VRML specification.

Explore 3-D worlds by walking in and around a virtual space. Through the use of Uniform Resource Locators (URLs), both 3-D linear and multi-directional links can be created to move a user to any area on the Internet. Using the 3-D space metaphor, "places" on the Internet can be defined and given a visual imprint, which may aid the user to learning or remembering more about a particular Web page or location. Navigate around a shopping mall, an educational institute or visit a museum in another city or country. Creat hotspots from "live" 3-D objects, walls or surfaces that can transport you around the world to exciting destinations.

3-D sites for the WWW can be created using Virtus' award-winning Virtus WalkThrough Pro 2.5+, Virtus 3-D Website Builder, or any other 3-D modeler that supports VRML export. Virtus Voyager supports perspective-correct textures, lighting and advanced rendering modes that will add realism to your 3-D Web experience.
